Barbie, Oppenheimer e Killers of the Flower Moon são os filmes mais nomeados. Na televisão e streaming, Succession, Only Murders in the Building e The Bear lideram as nomeações.
Os nomeados aos Globos de Ouro de 2024 foram revelados esta segunda-feira, 11 de dezembro. E há poucas surpresas nos favoritos para a 81ª edição da cerimónia que antecede os Óscares, e que acontece a 7 de janeiro.
Fez parte da história do cinema deste ano, e parece que fenómeno Barbenheimer continua, agora nos Globos de Ouro 2024. Oppenheimer está nomeado para Melhor Filme – Drama, assim como Killers of the Flower Moon; enquanto Barbie é o favorito ao Globo de Ouro de Melhor Filme – Musical ou Comédia. Juntos, são os três filmes mais nomeados: Barbie (nove nomeações), Oppenheimer (oito) e Killers of the Flower Moon (sete).
Nas séries, Succession é a rainha das nomeações, com nove nomeações, incluindo para Melhor Série – Drama. Seguem-se Only Murders in the Building e The Bear, ambas com cinco e ambas nomeadas a Melhor Série – Musical ou Comédia. The Crown está em terceiro no top das mais nomeadas, com quatro nomeações.
No que toca às produtoras e plataformas de distribuição, a HBO/Max lidera o número total de nomeações para televisão (17 nomeações), seguida da Netflix, com 15. A Netflix lidera as nomeações para filmes com 13 categorias, e quase que é alcançada pela Warner Bros., que obteve 12.
Os Globos de Ouro 2024 chegam com algumas mudanças e novidades. As categorias passam a ter seis nomeados, em vez de cinco, como era até agora. Além disso, este ano há duas categorias que se estreiam. Pela primeira vez vão ser entregues prémios que premeiam espetáculos de stand up comedy com transmissão em televisão ou streaming – Best Performance in Stand-Up Comedy on Television – e os blockbusters do ano – Cinematic and Box Office Achievement.
