Oppenheimer, Killers of the Flower Moon e Poor Things lideram as nomeações. Os vencedores são conhecidos a 10 de março.
Depois dos Globos de Ouro de 2024, seguem-se os Óscares. E esta terça-feira, 23 de janeiro, ficou a conhecer-se a lista completa dos nomeados aos Óscares 2024. A 96ª edição da cerimónia de entrega dos prémios da Academia acontece a 10 de março, e o anfitrião, pela quarta vez, e segunda consecutiva, vai ser Jimmy Kimmel.
Oppenheimer reforça-se como um dos filmes do ano, com 13 nomeações. Seguem-se Poor Things e Killers of the Flower Moon, com 11 e 10 nomeações, respetivamente. O fenómeno Barbie teve apenas oito nomeações – Margot Robbie, falha, surpreendentemente, a nomeação a Melhor Atriz e Greta Gerwig fica fora da lista de Melhor Realizador. Os quatro filmes estão na corrida para Melhor Filme.
Este ano a lista de nomeados faz história por dois motivos diferentes: pela primeira vez existem três mulheres nomeadas a Melhor Filme (Justine Triet por Anatomy of a Fall, Greta Gerwig por Barbie, e Celine Song por Past Lives), e também pela primeira vez há uma mulher nativa americana a ser nomeada para a categoria de Melhor Atriz Principal (Lily Gladstone, em Killers of the Flower Moon).
Pelo segundo ano consecutivo há um português na lista de nomeados aos maiores prémios da sétima arte. Joaquim dos Santos, realizador e animador luso-americano, é o co-realizador de Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, obra nomeada para Melhor Filme de Animação.
