Já são conhecidos os nomeados para os jogos do ano no The Game Awards 2025, que acontece já no início de dezembro.
Através de uma transmissão muito especial, apresentada por Geoff Keighley, fãs e curiosos dos videojogos puderam ficar a conhecer a lista completa de nomeados aos jogos do ano nos The Game Awards 2025, ao logo das suas várias categorias.
2025 foi um ano pesado em bons jogos, com imensos candidatos a ocupar uma das seis nomeações na categoria de Jogo do Ano, mas entre eles destaca-se Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, ao acumular 12 nomeações, também para Realização, Narrativa, Direção Artística, Banda Sonora, Jogo Independente, Jogo Independente de Estreia, RPG e mais três de Performance pelo seu excelente elenco, aqui representado por Ben Starr, Jennifer English e Charlie Cox.
Na corrida à soma de vários prémios, também nomeados a Jogo do Ano, surgem dois exclusivos PlayStation 5, Death Stranding 2: On The Beach e Ghost of Yōtei, com sete nomeações cada um.
No grande prémio junta-se ainda Hades II (com seis nomeações), Hollow Knight: Silksong (com cinco nomeações)e Kingdom Come: Deliverance II (com três nomeações noutras categorias).
A lista deste ano é composta por 25 categorias dedicadas aos jogos de diferentes géneros, somando-se 89 títulos diferentes. Tal como em edições passadas, há também uma categoria dedicada às adaptações para TV e cinema, com cinco nomeados: A Minecraft Movie, Devil May Cry, The Last of Us S2, Splinter Cell: Deathwatch e Until Dawn.
Os vencedores dos The Game Awards 2025 são escolhidos através de uma mistura de votos conjunta de um júri especializado, que vale 90% da votação, e do publico, com um peso de 10%. Os jogadores poderão assim partilhar as suas preferências e opiniões, através do site oficial do evento, onde já é possível votar.
Os The Game Awards 2025 serão transmitidos na madrugada de sexta-feira, 12 de dezembro, entre as 1h00 e as 4h00 (hora de Lisboa).
